The 1881 Superintendent’s House at Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, WV had the original belfry removed in the early 1970’s. Doug Perks, the cemetery historian says it was removed due to instability after a fire. Vintage was very excited to be chosen to build a replica belfry. Along with building a replica belfry Vintage also repaired exterior millwork and repainted the whole exterior with natural linseed oil paint.
